Bergeron Rodeo Grounds
Did you know that Davie has its own professional rodeo arena? The Bergeron Rodeo Grounds hosts rodeo events, livestock shows, equestrian competitions, concerts and other unique special events throughout the year. Watch professional cowboys and cowgirls test their skills at team penning, barrel racing and bull riding. If you visit during the annual Davie Pro Rodeo event, you can catch all the main rodeo events like bronc riding, steer wrestling and calf roping. Old Davie School Historical Museum
History buffs will love exploring the Old Davie School Historical Museum. This 1918 schoolhouse provides a window into Davie’s past when the town was still a rural farming community. Wander through the restored classrooms filled with antique desks and books. See what lessons were like in the early 20th century in the recreated “schoolmarm’s” room. Pine Island Ridge Park
Nature lovers will feel right at home at Pine Island Ridge Park. Encompassing over 1,300 acres, this is one of the largest parks in Davie. Eight miles of wooded hiking trails and boardwalks wind through pine flatwoods, oak hammocks and cypress swamps. The trails are fantastic for hiking, jogging or bike riding. Stop at one of the covered pavilions along the way to enjoy a picnic surrounded by natural beauty. Anglers can try their luck fishing on two lakes within the park.
